The improvement made to this website, will certainly brings IEM Penang Branch even closer to members, engineering fraternity and to the society.

Engineering knowledge is expanding at a tremendous pace and the engineering technology as a catalyst is continuously changing the face and structure of our society. The new engineering skills and competencies have become a key element in ensuring quality in the process and product alike. Therefore, to cope with the modern challenges, adoption of information technology is imperative. This Website, therefore, a privileged channel will unite the engineers and the engineering fraternity, bring them closer to outsider and to the society.

The maintenance and the up-dating of website is, for many entrepreneurs, bloggers and business owners, an uncertain and scary prospect. This is often due to both unanswered questions and incomplete knowledge of which questions to ask. I wish to praise the G&S Section for the gut in undertaking and accomplishing this task. This website will now act as ready information source not only to the engineers but also to outsiders and to the society.
